Privilege and Property

Open Book Publishers promise a new approach to academic publishing, and offer readers a choice of buying a printed copy of a book or downloading a pdf at about one-third of the paperback price. Privilege and Property is available from them (here) for a mere £4.95, or £14.95 or £24.95. It's a collection of essays on the history of copyright, the work of 15 well-known academics in the field. If I could stand reading books on screen, I'd go for the pdf - as it is, I'll stick to paper. Especially for 450 pages!
