ICO warns about inadequate privacy notices

Website privacy notices aren't difficult to get right, although they aren't as universal as they should be. The Information Commissioner's Office recently published the results of an online survey of over 2,000 consumers, conducted on its behalf in January 2009, which makes interesting reading. A new code of practice on the subject is going to follow shortly.
